Andrea has over ten years of therapy experience working with children, teens and adults. She offers individual, couples and family therapy. Andrea works with an array of issues, but her main clinical interests include: depression, anxiety, infertility, perinatal and postpartum mental health, family issues, and grief and loss. Andrea also has a passion for working with infertility, miscarriage and fetal anomaly due to her own personal and professional experience. Andrea specializes in working with children and teens and understands the pressures they face.
Andrea’s style is gentle, compassionate and non-judgmental with a focus on helping individuals learn healthy ways of coping and finding hope through difficult times. “I believe in the power of hope; hope for change, hope for growth and hope within the storm.” Andrea helps clients incorporate their whole self, including the mind, body and spirit into the healing process. Andrea’s holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy creates a comfortable and safe space where clients can begin to more fully connect with themselves and others.
Andrea has specialized training in perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Andrea’s role as a wife and mother has rewarded her with the most valuable insight - the connection between actual life experiences, academics, theory and research. Andrea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Minnesota. Born and raised in Ramona, California, Andrea attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with her BS in Nutrition. She then attended National University in San Diego where she received her Masters in Counseling Psychology. In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, camping and spending time with her husband and children.
Joseph's contribution to the organization focus on client communication, IT management, and other administrative tasks. He has had other life experiences and professional pursuits primarily in the U.S. Military and also as a school teacher.
He spent his childhood years in the Minneapolis, MN area before attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2003 to 2007. Post graduation, Joseph was subsequently accepted to attend the Navy Officer Candidate School in Newport RI. He deployed a number of times to the Western Pacific and Persian Gulf areas.
He enjoys the outdoors, being physically active, visiting his home state, and chasing after his young kids.
